I had no expectations but heard this is the best Chinese food in Dallas. So we had to try it out. We ordered shao long Bao, spicy wonton, egg rolls, pan fried dumplings, scallion cake, and orange beef. Hands down spicy wonton was the best dish. The server kept filling our water glasses. It ge decor is nice and clean. There are a lot of photos to check out. Overall experience was very nice.

The restaurant is good food, at a reasonable price, with something for everyone. I was surprised by how busy it was at 6pm, but it definitely caters to the family friendly crowd. Best dishes of the evening: 1. Salt & pepper tofu 2. Xiao Long bao 3. Pork with edamame and Jalapeño + smoked tofu 4. All the dishes in white sauce were really good - moo goo gai pan, and bok choy with mushrooms were favorites. There is something for everyone and really popular spot judging by the crowds. I would definitely return.

Great ambiance, good service. However, the food was good, but was geared towards Americanized Chinese dishes! Between the 2 of us, we ordered 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. 1) appetizer- xiao long bao (delicious! A must order) 2) garlic and pork green beans 3) dry stir fry beef This restaurant is clearly beloved by many locals, and repeat customers!

Royal China Restaurant came highly recommended from a family who lived in China for 10 years. You know it's legit when the menu is in Chinese (and English). It gets extremely busy and our arrival at 4:45 may seem early but it was perfect because we got right to a table. Even at 5, the place was already filling up. They have legit hand-pulled noodles with an older lady at the noodle station cooking them. We ordered edamame and tbe dumpling sampler with my favorite being the shrimp dumpling. You need to get the Lu-Rou Mian, the thin hand-pulled noodles. You'll thank me the moment it arrives! Will I try something else, maybe for an appetizer but not for the main course. The food is amazing!!

Eggrolls, Spicy Wontons, Dumplings, Stir Fried La Mian with Pork, Dry Stirred Beef, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Three Cup Chicken, Eggplant Basil, Fried Rice Omg this place is phenomenal!! Is sort of a blend of traditional Chinese dishes with some americanized ones, and it is so delicious. The interior is huge and so cool inside, with an area where you can see cooks hand pulling noodles. The drinks are delicious and fun and there are many fruity options. The eggrolls were delicious in this great spicy mustard sauce. Wontons and dumplings were yummy. Hand pulled noodles were fantastic!! And they did each of the proteins and veggies so well--everything was so tender and juicy and bursting with flavor. Eggplant and Fried rice were great too! Super friendly efficient servers. Our group was very full and very happy!!

The place was packed and needed to wait about 30-40 min but it was worth it. I didn't even get to take a picture of the appetizer because it was so good and had to eat right away. We had the pork buns that were so flavorful and had a really rich taste to it. The noodles had a nice spicy kick and packed with flavor as well. I would for sure recommend this place!

You only get a few of these experiences in your lifetime, the ones that really leave a lasting impression. This was one of those times. When I say, the food was incredible, that is not doing it justice. I was blown away at such a high-quality, authentic Chinese food experience in the middle of Dallas. The first thing I have to talk about is their chili oil. This is easily the best chili oil I've ever had. Excellent oil, flavor, spicy, and crispy. You must get the Dandan noodles with the noodles. This was voted one of the top 100 dishes in Dallas. The dishes, flavorful, mouth, numbing, and sweet. It is served, but that is such a good way to eat it. I also suggest their soup dumplings. Incredible, so much flavor, and made right in front of you. Any of their noodle dishes are well worth it. You can watch them hand pulling the noodles in front of the bar that is in the center of the restaurant. Finally, I got the salt and pepper tofu, which was really spicy, and had perfectly fried pieces of soft tofu. This was such a great experience and I will absolutely come back here in the future.
